Salon-style grooming

We have just two or three groomers on staff  at any given time. They each focus on just one dog at a time while they are working. In fact, we schedule appointments in an attempt to have only one, maybe two dogs (if one is waiting to be picked up) in our grooming area at a time. One dog and one groomer means less stress for your pet and more attention to detail. .

Pricing structure


Quality, detail and tranquility: words that describe our approach to grooming. Below are our pricing guidelines. Please note: all prices are subject to change until we see your dog in person. Penalty fees may incur at the groomers discretion. We have three levels of grooming, each with a base price listed below:

Sizing:
Small Dog - Under 25 lbs.
Medium Dog - 26 lbs. - 45 lbs.
Large Dog - 46 lbs. - 65 lbs.
X Large Dog - 66 lbs. - 80 lbs.
XX Large Dog - 81 - 110 lbs.
Giant Dog - 111 lbs.+ (REQUIRES CONSULTATION BEFORE SERVICE)

Level 1 - Bath & Brush (short coat only):
Includes two part shampoo/conditioner, nail trim and ear cleaning for short coated dogs.

Level 2 - Bath & Brush (long coat or double coat only):
Includes two part shampoo/conditioner, nail trim and ear cleaning for long coated or double coat dogs.

Level 3 - Full Groom with Trim and/or Shave:
Includes everything in the Bath & Brush, plus a haircut based on your request. This haircut may include a scissor trim, multiple shave lengths, and/or breed standard patterning. Level 3 pricing is based on 6-8 week maintenance appointments and final cost may vary. Grooms requiring additional time and/or specific attention to detail may increase in price based on patterning, length, etc.

Hypoallergenic Shampoo: $1
Coat Whitening: $4
Teeth Brushing: $10
De-shed Treatment: $10
Ear Plucking: $12
Anal Gland Expression: $15
Hand Scissoring: $100 per hour

Penalties:
Matted coat or special care: $5 per 5 minutes
Bad Behavior (aggressive or difficult dogs): starts at $15
Late Pick-up Fee: $60/hr
Ticks, Lice, Contagious bugs: $95 + Full Groom fee
Dog Bite: $250 + full groom fee + medical bills

A La Carte Grooming Services (Call to book separately, no groom included):
Nail Trim: $15
Nail Grinding: $19
Teeth Brushing: $10
Ear Cleaning: $10
Ear Plucking $12
Anal Gland Expression: $25

✯Cancellation with LESS than 24 hour notice will result in a fee of 60% of the scheduled groom price.
✯If you do not show up for your appointment, it will be marked as a "no show" which will also result in a fee of 60% of the scheduled groom price.
✯If you are 10 minutes or more late to your grooming appointment, you are subject to reschedule and may incur late fees or no-show fees.
Important Update: New Colorado Vaccination Requirements for Dog Grooming

Effective July 15, 2025, the Colorado Department of Agriculture and PACFA have mandated changes for grooming and boarding facilities. To comply with state regulations, we are now required to keep the following current vaccination records on file for all dogs using our grooming services:
✯ Rabies: Required for all dogs over 16 weeks of age. A rabies tag alone is not sufficient; documentation of the vaccination is needed
✯ Distemper and Parvovirus: Required for all dogs over 8 weeks of age

Requirements:
✯ Bring your dog's updated vaccination records to your next grooming appointment OR email a digital copy to [email protected]
✯ If your pet cannot be vaccinated for health reasons, PACFA requires a written statement from a licensed veterinarian - please bring this letter in to your next appointment OR email a digital copy to [email protected]
✯ If your dog's vaccination records do not meet these requirements upon arrival, grooming services cannot be provided, and your appointment will need to be rescheduled

Our Grooming Professionals

Valerie Brandner
Executive Director of Grooming Operations

Originally from Chicago, Valerie brings over 18 years of experience in grooming to our establishment. Her calm demeanor is great for nervous and anxious dogs. She has the ability to do any cut from Standard Schnauzers and Poodles and Westies. Her cuts are truly incredible and her attention to detail is phenomenal. She lives in Englewood, Colorado with her husband and their Bichon-Poodle mix, Brody.

-Current Schedule: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday
-Usually booked out: 6+ weeks

Eli Tuinder

Born and raised in Arvada, Eli brings over 12 years of grooming experience to our establishment. He is skilled in many cuts but especially loves to groom Shih Tzus and Golden Retrievers. Eli is patient and detail-oriented, taking time to ensure each pup learns to feel safe during grooming. Eli lives in Lakewood, Colorado with his four chihuahuas - Fiona, Ruben, Gouda and Pippin. He enjoys hiking and spending time with his dogs when he's not at the salon.

Emily Stiff

Originally from Cortez, Colorado, Emily has been grooming since 2018 and was previously a professional dog trainer in big box stores before beginning her grooming career. She is proficient in many cuts but has a soft spot for Australian Shepherds, Shih Tzus and Boxers. Emily has a very positive and calming demeanor and can often help even the most nervous of dogs feel comfortable and learn to enjoy grooming. She lives in Golden, Colorado with her husband, two cats (Jackie and Mary), Boxer-mix, Clyde, and her Mountain Curr, Bonnie.
