The Origin of Stella & Chewy's
Inspired by her own dog's health transformation with raw food, Marie Moody began to embark on a journey to pursue pet nutrition and create her own company- Stella & Chewy's. Named after her two dogs, the company was started in her small kitchen in her New York apartment in 2003. Fast forward and their kitchen and facility space has grown immensely! They now operate out of Oak Creek, Wisconsin. As they have expanded they have still kept their integrity by ensuring the production of the highest quality natural pet food. Stella & Chewy's started out only producing raw diets but they have now expanded to freeze-dried, wet recipes and kibble. This allows them to meet the needs and budgets of all kinds of pet owner's! After hearing concerns about sustainability from their customer's, Stella & Chewy's has begun to transition to recyclable packaging! To start their transition they have partnered with How2Recycle.
