Protective atmosphere packaging

Farmina's foods are always packaged using nitrogen (instead of an atmospheric oxygen mixture) which helps to preserve the nutrients in food and reduces the likelihood of broken bags during transport.

Just in time baking!

"Just in time" means there's no back stock of product waiting to be shipped. The freshest food is always cooked and shipped right when its ordered.

Vitamin vacuum coating

Only Farmina uses this technology to add vitamins to the kibble after the cooking process. First they remove the oxygen in the post cook chamber, add vitamins and fruit extracts into the micro pores of the kibble. They then reintroduce the oxygen which forces the vitamins deep into each piece of kibble. Most manufacturers add the vitamins before cooking which means a significant portion of the vitamins are destroyed by cooking.
